Kajabi Review 2025: Pro's and Con's

What Is Kajabi?

Kajabi is an all-in-one online business platform that allows you to:

• Host a private community or even your own branded app

• Collect payments, set up automations, and even send invoices

Basically, it replaces the need for juggling 6–8 different platforms (WordPress, Mailchimp, Teachable, Leadpages, etc.) and puts everything under one roof. I LOVE an all in one system because less platforms = less stress. 

Kajabi Review: Why I Recommend It

Kajabi’s support team is truly next level. Anytime I’ve had a question, they’ve been quick, helpful, and proactive. This is a huge deal when you’re running a business online. Back in 2024, they even reached out to me when THEY caught a mistake in my monthly autopayments and credited my account $2k to account for the error. There's also a FABULOUS facebook group that I turn to for niche questions and problem-solving. 

2. All-in-One Features That Actually Work

Can we talk about SIMPLICITY for a second... Instead of piecing together courses on one platform, your email list on another, and payments on a third, Kajabi makes it seamless. You can build out sales funnels, memberships, coaching programs, or digital products all in one place.

3. Freedom to Scale Without Tech Stress

Simplifying my tech stack allowed me to focus on clients and sales, not on troubleshooting. Kajabi supported me in growing a six-figure coaching business while working less than 20 hours a week.

Kajabi Cons: What You Should Know Before You Join

No platform is perfect, and Kajabi is no exception. While I absolutely love it and recommend it, here are a few of the downsides you should be aware of:

1. Higher Monthly Expense

Kajabi isn’t the cheapest option. Starting anywhere from $70-$200/month, it can feel like a big investment, especially if your online business isn’t making money yet. The flip side is that Kajabi often replaces 5–7 different tools, which can actually save money in the long run. Also, a $200 overhead is relatively low in the business world, and I just choose to see it as my monthly online "rent". 

2. Tech Learning Curve

While I find Kajabi intuitive and my team has been able to train on it quickly, there is a bit of a learning curve. If you’re extremely tech-challenged, it might feel overwhelming at first. That said, this is true of most online systems and Kajabi’s customer support and Kajabi Hero Community is excellent at helping you navigate.

3. Limited Checkout Page Customization

This is honestly the thing that drives me the craziest: Kajabi’s checkout pages are functional, but not as customizable as I’d like. If you want a highly branded checkout experience, you may feel a little boxed in. I have found some great codes to use in the Kajabi Hero Facebook Community, though, so if you're a nerd like me, you can find a way around some of the limitations. 

4. Not Great for Mobile Emailing

Another downside is that Kajabi isn’t the smoothest tool to use on a mobile device, especially if you’re trying to send emails on the go. The desktop experience is fantastic, but mobile email management could be better. This only mattered to me because when I started my business, I had a 4-year-old and a baby and did a TON of my work via mobile device with a baby sleeping on my chest. I still use the free version of Kit for my weekly emails, and just utilize the Kajabi email feature for sending reminders to my program attendees and community.
